Valley Vision has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify organizations capable of providing community outreach and engagement services for the We Prosper Together Catalyst Program. This initiative aims to build a stronger, inclusive regional economy by uplifting all communities, encouraging further investment in the region, and creating living wage jobs. This service agreement will commence upon signing and continue until September 30, 2026. Proposals are due by 5pm PST on September 18, 2024. Interested organizations should submit proposals to Alan Lange at alan.lange@valleyvision.org.

We Prosper Together – Community Outreach and Engagement (due Sept. 18)
We want to hear why an inclusive and sustainable economy is important to you. We are collecting personal stories and testimonies that showcase why our region — and the people who make it special — are worth investing in. We know this work can often feel large and intangible, but the impacts can be pivotal to our communities. By sharing your story, you’ll help us ground this work in real-life experiences.
If you want to participate, please fill out our story bank collection form. You can share as much or as little as you are comfortable with. Stories will not be shared publicly unless consent is given.
We are proud to announce that the Capital Region has officially been awarded $14M for the Catalyst Program. These funds will invest in emerging projects that create or increase pathways to quality jobs and align with our shared regional vision. Valley Vision submitted the application in November 2023 on our region’s behalf.
The Catalyst Fund is one of multiple funding streams as part of the Regional Investment Initiative (formerly known as CERF). This initiative is housed under the California Jobs First program, the State of California’s portfolio of initiatives create accessible, high-quality jobs for all Californians.
