Tex Ritter graduated from University of Houston Law Center with a J.D. with honors and received his B.A. in Health Services Administration from St. Mary’s College of California and his bachlier from Universite` de Bretagne Occidentale, Accademie de Rennes. Tex speaks English, French and Spanish.
Tex is working as Special Counsel to Nevada-Sierra Connecting Point Public Authority (“Connecting point”) serving Placer, Nevada, Sierra, Plumas, Yuba and El Dorado counties. Connecting Point provides employment services, subsidized employment, CalFresh and Medi-Cal enrollment, homelessness services, and operates the 2-1-1 telephone utility for Placer and Nevada counties.
Tex has been engaged in governmental and social services working in employment services for Nevada County Social Services Department where he was director. He was also the interim director of Public Health for Nevada County and their Child Support Services Director. Prior to that his experience includes being a managing attorney at the County of Marin and a Deputy District Attorney with the County of Riverside. Tex is a licensed attorney and Real Estate Broker in California.
