EPIC on the Road expands workforce development training to the greater Sacramento area’s eight-county region for manufacturing careers with new energy and transportation technologies. Deploying an all-electric mobile classroom and partnering with companies such as Rivian and Bosch, among others, these trainings teach community members skills that can be utilized for precision manufacturing career opportunities. EPIC on the Road works with various regional partner organizations to ensure opportunities are provided to underinvested communities where participants receive available wraparound services to help remove barriers to long-term, manufacturing jobs.
