County of Colusa

Our organization is a local government organization. We are the smallest County by population in this regional effort, and have no truly urban areas within our boundaries. However, of the eight counties in the Sacramento CERF region, we are the leading producer of agricultural commodities. In 2020, the gross agricultural production for Colusa County totaled nearly $927,000,000, some $257,000,000 more than Yolo County in second place. Our organization brings to the table a wealth of knowledge of the County's challenges and opportunities for economic development. While County staff have been focused on supporting and preserving the County's existing agricultural industry, we have also been working to diversify the economic industries within the County. Further, as the local governing body for the unincorporated area of the County, we will be an integral part of any development that will occur here.
