On July 14, 2022, Valley Vision held the second meeting for We Prosper Together's Backbone Support & Governance Subcommittee. The meeting included a presentation in which Valley Vision shared our proposed governance structure and then solicited feedback from the group through discussion.
On July 21, 2022, Valley Vision held the third meeting for the California Jobs First (CERF) Backbone Support & Governance Subcommittee. The meeting included a presentation in which Valley Vision shared the changes made to the proposed governance structure and then solicited any remaining feedback from the group.
On January 27, 2023, Valley Vision hosted a regional conversation on the pilot projects to provide an overview of the California Jobs First (CERF) Economic Development Pilot Projects program and eligibility requirements, provide clarification on the SFP and program guidelines, and more.
On February 7, 2023, Valley Vision hosted a roundtable on California Jobs First (Community Economic Resilience Fund) for Nevada County.
Our first official Collaborative meeting kicked off with the “Summer of Collective Learning” series featuring a presentation from guest speaker Dr. Manuel Pastor. We made some major announcements regarding changes to the California Jobs First (CERF) program and other updates.
The Summer of Collective Learning session featured a panel of Economic Development Pilot Project awardees discussing innovative projects advancing California Jobs First.
The session featured the Salinas Inclusive Economic Development Initiative and collaborative partners with Mujeres en Acción learning about their efforts to influence inclusive recovery and economic development.
The Livability Summit is Valley Vision's annual collaborative conference for advancing equity, sustainability, and prosperity. The Livability Summit provides a space where community members and regional leaders unite, share views and voices, listen and reflect, and engage with a diverse audience capable of creating real impact.
During this session, Valley Vision’s research partner Cities GPS presented their updated research findings to We Prosper Together's Collaborative.
Our Capital Region Leadership Council will hold their second monthly meeting on Thursday, February 15. Consistent with our core values, while the meeting is private we've made the meeting agenda available to the public.
