Orville Thomas serves as the CEO of the California Mobility Center. In his role, he works with stakeholders to accelerate clean energy, power, and zero-emission technology development as the CMC builds out 25-acres of research, development, and manufacturing space in Sacramento, California. Prior to the CMC, Orville served as the State Policy Director for CALSTART, Government Relations Director for Lion Electric, and Government Affairs Director for the California Immigrant Policy Center. He has also worked on California’s high-speed rail project while working for the administration of Governor Jerry Brown. Orville has a Master of Public Policy degree from UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Policy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and TV Communication from San Francisco State University.
