Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation

For the past 25 years, TTCF has supported capacity for the regional nonprofit sector through our grantmaking programs and collaborative initiatives. Our strategies are equally informed by robust data collection models, convening efforts and community stakeholder input and TTCF plays a key role in identifying and addressing the needs of our region and responding with resources and solutions. Based on decades of learning, the Foundation has forecasted a pipeline of regional investment opportunities designed to match community opportunity with capital inflows to the region. High Road goals of transitioning the regional workforce to more sustainable economic models and industry are represented in this model across issue areas. Our challenges and solutions are closely tied to this effort; and most recently we’ve leveraged relationships with public entities, private philanthropy and industry experts to address forest health and workforce. This is one of many opportunities we see to attract resources to rural areas which have a long-held history of underinvestment.
