City of Woodland

Woodland is home to roughly 62,000 people and is the Seat of the County of Yolo. Our organization has award-winning experience delivering services and programs to our community. In particular, the City of Woodland brings a focus on equity to the table along with important industry perspective. Our Food Front initiative highlights our more than 190 food and agriculture businesses, an industry cluster ranging from growers and ranchers to seed researchers and value-added food producers. Food and ag businesses also employ a diverse workforce and proved resilient to economic challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the City is focused on equitable economic development. The City recently commissioned an in-depth equity analysis from a team of UC Berkeley graduate students and is currently developing the City's first-ever equity action plan to bring tangible change to our workplace and the community at large.
