California Urban Partnership

A nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2010, the CALIFORNIA URBAN PARTNERSHIP’s (CUP) mission is to build economic security in Black and Indigenous communities of color (BIPOC) through policy research, education and organizing community action. Sacramento is the base for our local advocacy work; particularly for City/County systems changes that increase investments to improve the health and wealth of marginalized people and places. Although Sacramento is our local base, we work statewide pending opportunities to align with coalition partners from regions across California; specifically on advocacy for state policy changes, and shaping public/private funding to support community economic development.
