Our organization is a Union of building trades electrical workers in the greater Sacramento Area. We were originally chartered in 1912 by approximately 50 members. Today we represent over 2,000 electrical workers including journeyman, apprentices, and trainees across 18 counties in Northern California. Our members are employed by over 120 of our signatory licensed electrical contractors. Our organization brings to the table over a century of experience in the realm of workforce development. Not only do we deliver both the finest training and education available in our craft, but also dignity of working-class people through excellent wages, benefits, and working conditions. We believe in building career individuals, not simply placing people into jobs.
